Jen Ashby, Speaker

When Jen speaks, you feel like you’re having coffee with a friend, solid Bible teacher, and traveler on the journey of following Jesus. Jen has a way of letting you know that you belong, even if you’re not ready to believe. Jen’s teaching begins with the Bible, comes alive with storytelling, and results in practical tools to lead a life worth living and giving. 

Jen’s first career was in healthcare as a licensed occupational therapist. She holds a master’s degree from Alliance Theological Seminary, and has been a licensed minister since 2001. She is currently employed full time as the Executive Director of Ministries at Derwood Alliance Church in Rockville, Maryland. When she is not teaching or leading, she enjoys cooking, traveling, and a great story.
